Zhoushan Gas Turbine 500kV Power Transmission Project Successfully Completes Line Routing Acceptance, Consolidating the “Expressway” for Power Delivery

Recently, State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply Company successfully completed the full-line routing acceptance of the Zhoushan Gas Turbine 500kV Power Transmission Project. This milestone marks key progress in the construction of this major power project and lays a solid foundation for subsequent commissioning and power supply.

As a crucial part of the optimization and upgrading of Zhoushan’s power grid, the Zhoushan Gas Turbine 500kV Power Transmission Project has a total line length of 23.66 kilometers. Once completed and put into operation, the project will significantly enhance the power supply capacity of the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area’s power grid, effectively meet the power balance needs of Zhoushan’s power grid, and provide key support for Zhoushan to build an “integrated” demonstration project of wind, solar, gas, storage, and hydrogen energy.

The line routing acceptance was organized by State Grid Zhoushan Power Supply Company. An acceptance team was formed by professional and technical personnel from design, construction, supervision, and other units to conduct a comprehensive “inspection” of the line. During the acceptance process, the staff adopted multiple methods such as on-foot patrols and UAV inspections, focusing on meticulous checks of key parts including tower foundations, conductor and ground wire connections, insulator strings, hardware installation, and cross-span distances. At the same time, a thorough investigation was carried out on potential tree obstacles and external damage risk points within the line corridor to ensure no blind spots were left.

“This line routing acceptance is a comprehensive inspection of the line project quality. We strictly follow the requirements of regulations and standards, leaving no detail unchecked to ensure the line is commissioned with zero defects,” said Guo Junfeng, head of the acceptance team.

It is reported that in the next step, all parties involved in the construction will accelerate the rectification of problems and the organization of acceptance materials, and make every effort to prepare for the commissioning and power supply. The line is expected to be officially put into operation on June 8, which will inject strong “electric power” into Zhoushan’s economic and social development.

The successful completion of the line routing acceptance for the Zhoushan Gas Turbine 500kV Power Transmission Project is a vivid practice of government-enterprise collaboration in promoting the construction of major projects, and also reflects the achievements of power constructors who stick to their posts and overcome difficulties.
