Pingdingshan, Henan Province: Adequate electricity supports the green and low-carbon development of logistics enterprises

On June 23rd, as the National Energy Conservation Promotion Week approached, staff from State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company visited the electric heavy-duty truck charging station of Longbao Logistics Transportation Co., Ltd. to promote and explain the safety precautions for using charging piles and ensure the green and safe travel of electric heavy-duty trucks. The logistics company’s  person in charge expressed gratitude to the power supply company for its high-quality service.

Henan Province, as a national transportation and logistics hub, has vigorously implemented the green transformation project of transportation equipment this year and accelerated the process of “oil for electricity” for heavy trucks. State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company actively connects with logistics enterprises in the region, plans ahead and provides efficient services to support electric heavy-duty trucks on the road at full capacity, providing solid power guarantee for the popularization of new energy heavy-duty trucks.

Heavy truck charging stations have the characteristics of high power and high load electricity consumption. In response to the charging pile installation needs of heavy truck enterprises, State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company has extended its power supply services, arranged for customer managers to “one-on-one” docking, combined with customer site planning, future development and other actual situations, deeply analyzed the carrying capacity of the power grid in the project area, and provided professional advice on the access plan.

At the same time, a “green channel” has been opened for the entire process of the heavy-duty truck charging project, with multiple links including data collection, survey, design, and supporting power grid construction carried out simultaneously. The direct construction of power grid facilities has been extended to the edge of the customer’s planning red line, greatly reducing the electricity handling process, time, and cost, ensuring the rapid landing and operation of heavy-duty truck charging stations.

With the continuous increase in demand for heavy-duty truck charging, State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company is vigorously fighting to ensure the power supply of heavy-duty truck charging facilities, conducting comprehensive market research and analysis, collecting potential electricity demand from customers, and laying out distribution network access projects for electric heavy-duty truck charging stations in advance, achieving “electricity and other projects”.

As of early June, State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company has delivered electricity to 30 heavy-duty truck charging stations, accepted applications for installation from 22 households, and has 6 potential users. The total capacity of the delivered heavy-duty truck charging stations is 58000 kilowatts.

It is reported that in the next step, State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company will continue to focus on the direction of “improving service quality and accelerating response speed”, injecting strong momentum into the green and low-carbon transformation of traditional transportation industry with precise and efficient power supply services, and helping more enterprises enter the “fast lane” of green and low-carbon development.
