International Friends Explore the “Power Secret” Behind the Development of the Lobster Industry in the “Lobster Capital”

Recently, two international students from Huaiyin Institute of Technology visited Xuyi County, Jiangsu Province, known as the “Lobster Capital”, for an immersive experience of the green development of the full industrial chain of Xuyi lobsters, exploring the “power code” behind the rapid development of the lobster industry.

Yasamin from Morocco and Abu from Ethiopia visited the National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park in Xuyi County, the all-electric kitchen of Xuneng Group Co., Ltd., and the lobster cultural and culinary street, Kejie, to learn about the shrimp-rice symbiotic farming model, the all-electric processing and cooking process, and to experience the transformation of crayfish from the field to the dining table.

The students said that through this exploration trip, they deeply felt the important role of electricity in the full industrial chain of Xuyi lobsters and also appreciated the unique charm of Xuyi lobsters. They will act as “ambassadors” to introduce Xuyi lobsters to more international friends, making this delicious dish known worldwide.

It is reported that in recent years, Huai’an Power Supply Company of State Grid has focused on serving rural revitalization, keeping pace with the needs of local industrial development, and has organically integrated the “shrimp-rice symbiosis” plan of Xuyi County with the rural power grid renovation plan.
