Henan Xuchang: Servicing Charging Piles to Escort Green Travel
With the continuous rise in popularity of new energy vehicles, the demand for charging piles has also been growing rapidly. To ensure the stable operation of charging piles and meet the charging needs of vehicle owners, on June 10, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company organized staff to carry out a comprehensive inspection of charging piles in the jurisdiction.
During the inspection, staff from the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company strictly followed standardized procedures to inspect charging guns, display screens, and other components of the charging piles one by one. They carefully tested whether the output voltage and current of the charging piles were normal, and checked whether the protection devices were sensitive and reliable during charging. They used professional equipment such as infrared thermometers and insulation resistance testers to meticulously detect internal circuit switches, contactors, and other components of the chargers, recording equipment parameters in real time. Meanwhile, they cleaned the environment around the charging piles to ensure no debris accumulation or potential safety hazards. For issues found during the inspection, staff promptly recorded them to ensure resolution. They also carried out safety promotion activities for charging customers, popularizing charging safety knowledge and enhancing customers’ awareness of safe electricity use, thereby supporting the development of the new energy industry with high-quality power services.
This inspection not only effectively guaranteed the normal operation of charging piles but also promoted the environmental protection concept of green travel in the county.
