Xuchang, Henan: Fully Dedicated to Assisting Farmers in Drought-Resistant Planting Rush

On June 5, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company dispatched power supply service personnel to patrol farmlands. They inspected safety hazards in agricultural irrigation equipment, and distributed safe electricity usage pamphlets to farmers, ensuring secure, prompt, and reliable power supply for soil moisture conservation and planting operations.

To guarantee stable power supply for autumn crop planting and soil moisture preservation, the company organized 14 power service teams to conduct continuous inspections in fields, around wells, and along canals. These teams promptly addressed farmers’ needs for electricity installation and maintenance, guided them on proper operation of irrigation equipment, and implemented thorough power protection for centralized farmland irrigation. The teams prioritized comprehensive checks on electricity systems for irrigation facilities like wells and pumping stations, identifying and eliminating hidden dangers to ensure equipment operated smoothly and resolving water pumping issues for farmers in a timely manner. Meanwhile, aiming to address farmers’ weak awareness of safe electricity practices, the teams popularized safety knowledge through comic handbooks and pamphlets, effectively enhancing farmers’ awareness of electrical safety and self-protection capabilities.
