Fully Promote the Application of Domestically Produced Office Computers

In order to implement the national requirements for independent control and information security, the State Grid Kuitun Power Supply Company has actively promoted the comprehensive application of domestically produced office computers. On May 26, the company successfully completed the domestic substitution work for the State Grid Dushanzi District Power Supply Company, further enhancing the overall network security protection level of the company.

In recent years, international technology blockades and supply chain risks have become increasingly prominent, and the cybersecurity situation is severe. State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other national ministries have vigorously promoted the ‘domestic products for domestic use’ policy. Guodian Kuitun Power Supply Company, in line with its own informatization construction needs, has promoted domestic office computers as a key measure to build a self-controllable security system.

To ensure the smooth implementation of domestic substitution, the company relied on the network security laboratory of State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. to comprehensively verify the security, business system compatibility, and technical reliability of domestic computers, ultimately formulating a substitution plan covering all business scenarios. During the implementation process, the company established a technical support team combining ‘remote + on-site’ approaches, planned IP resources in advance, pre-installed office software, integrated peripheral drivers, and organized specialized training for the Kylin operating system to ensure employees can quickly adapt to the new environment. At the same time, a layered, graded, and batch substitution strategy was adopted, prioritizing the deployment of 79 domestic computers in the Dushanzi District to achieve stable single-machine operation.

During the promotion process, the company has identified a total of 74 issues, of which 55 have been promptly resolved. The remaining issues have been reported to the State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. through a two-level task force mechanism and are being continuously followed up. Through domestic substitution, the company’s terminal security protection capabilities have significantly improved, the risks of data leakage and external attacks have been effectively reduced, and the potential attack surface of network security has been further narrowed.

Next, based on the pilot experience in Dushanzi District, the company will fully utilize channels such as the 7186 customer service, information officer contact groups, and cloud links to optimize the problem feedback mechanism, and continue to deepen the application of domestic computers in various business fields. At the same time, the company will summarize the experience in handling typical problems, form a promotable technical solution, and provide reference for the industry’s domestic substitution work.
