Pingdingshan, Henan Province: Carry out a hidden electricity hazard investigation in "nine small" places

Recently, State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company, in collaboration with multiple departments in the city, launched a special rectification action on electricity safety hazards in the “nine small” places within its jurisdiction, early detection and treatment of electricity safety hazards, and safeguarding the safety of people’s lives and property.

In the operation process of “nine small places” such as small shops, small restaurants, and small hotels, water, electricity, and gas are frequently used, and electrical safety is crucial, which is the focus of this special rectification action. State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company strictly adheres to the three in one principle of “government led, customer led, and electricity proactive”, and solidly carries out the investigation of electrical safety hazards in “nine small” places, firmly guarding the safety bottom line.

In this special rectification action, staff of State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company used infrared thermometers and other equipment to conduct comprehensive “physical examinations” on key links such as electrical line laying and leakage protection devices, and carried out fundamental work on the power grid side. And through on-site distribution of promotional materials, explanation of typical cases, and other methods, promote knowledge of safe electricity use, effectively enhancing customer risk prevention awareness.

At the same time, State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company actively collaborates with the Emergency Management Bureau, National Development and Reform Commission and other units to establish a special rectification and coordination mechanism for electricity safety hazards, assisting customers in problem management and risk prevention. Establish a “one household, one policy” special rectification ledger to address issues such as line aging and unauthorized connections, clarify rectification requirements and deadlines, and provide detailed rectification suggestions and technical guidance.
