Nanyang, Henan: Power Supply Services Enhance Quality and Efficiency, Empowering the Development of the Cultural and Tourism Industry

On April 9th, it was reported that staff from the Lao Zhuang Central Power Supply Substation of the State Grid Zhenping County Power Supply Company have been conducting power facility inspections and special patrols of power lines in scenic areas such as the Bodhi Temple, Hongling Mountain Sports Park, and Taigong Lake Ecological Tourism Area in recent days.In this way, the company hopes to ensure the safe electricity usage in local scenic areas and promote the continuous “heating up” of local tourism. Their efforts ensure a stable and reliable power supply, enhancing the tourism profile of “The Hometown of Jade Carving” with high-quality electricity services.

In recent years, Lao Zhuang Town in Zhenping County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, has focused on leveraging cultural and tourism-driven economic development, utilizing its rich tourism resources, profound historical culture, and unique geographical advantages to actively develop the cultural and tourism industry. To promote local cultural and tourism development, the State Grid Zhenping County Power Supply Company has been advancing grid construction, proactively planning the electricity grid in line with local economic development plans, and extending power supply planning services for scenic areas in the region. In cooperation with the scenic area development plans, they have deployed power lines and transformer stations, increased the promotion of electricity for gas-to-electric conversion, and achieved a 100% electrification rate for homestays in scenic areas. “Both the charging station interface and the indicator lights are showing no abnormalities, and it can charge normally…” On that day, at the visitor center of a scenic area, the Communist Party member service team conducted key inspections of the charging station’s electrical safety and grounding, ensuring the healthy operation of the charging equipment. During the inspection, the service team also performed infrared temperature measurements on transformers in the scenic area, used drones for special patrols of surrounding power lines, and assisted customers with comprehensive power checks in places like the distribution room, commercial areas, and visitor centers. They promptly eliminated potential safety hazards, ensuring the equipment was in optimal working condition. At the same time, the service team actively educated staff and tourists on electrical safety knowledge, raising awareness of safe electricity use.

“Your service is really thoughtful. If we have any electrical issues, a phone call and you’re here. The inspections are thorough, and you never overlook any hidden risks. With strong power support, we feel much more secure about electricity use in our scenic area!” The person in charge of the Bodhi Temple Scenic Area expressed gratitude to the staff from the Zhenping company who came to conduct the electricity inspection.
