Xuchang, Henan: Strengthening Quality Control at the Network Entry Point for Power Materials

On March 22, at the power material warehouse in Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province, the Material Supply Subcenter of State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company conducted a centralized inspection of newly arrived distribution network materials. By implementing strict, meticulous, and practical quality control measures, the company ensures that materials meet the required standards at the very first checkpoint before entering the power network.

Quality is the foundation of enterprise development and the cornerstone of power grid security. As annual project construction progresses, a large volume of power grid materials is arriving in bulk. To ensure compliance with regulatory standards, the company rigorously fulfills its primary responsibility for material entry management, prioritizing the inspection of incoming materials. Strict quality control measures are in place, with a particular focus on the appearance of materials, including verifying whether factory reports, certificates of conformity, and user manuals are complete. The inspection also checks for expired materials, unclear labeling on product packaging, and any physical damage to materials. Comprehensive inspections are conducted on every transformer, every spool of incoming cable, and every protective conduit to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
