On February 17, State Grid Kuitun Power Supply Company partnered with the Kuitun Convergence Media Center to host a live online event, “Power Service Face-to-Face.” Power experts answered residents’ questions about electricity and shared safety tips during the livestream.

Streamed on the Kuitun Convergence Media Center’s Douyin (TikTok) channel, the event attracted thousands of viewers who actively participated by submitting questions and engaging in the live chat.

The livestream’s host and Kuitun Power representatives addressed residents’ primary concerns, providing detailed answers and expert advice on optimizing power service and identifying potential electrical hazards.

“My electricity bill has been a bit high lately. What’s going on?” one resident asked. “What’s the process for installing an EV charger in my apartment complex?” another inquired. The host and power experts patiently addressed each question, offering specific solutions and helpful tips. This direct interaction not only bridged the gap between the company and the community but also provided clear and effective policy explanations and service guidance.

“The way the power company interacts and answers questions during the livestream is fantastic! If we have any issues, they respond right away, and it’s incredibly helpful. I love this kind of format that speaks to us regular folks. They should do more of it!” praised Ms. Wan Xiuli, a resident of the Wurmaike neighborhood in Kuitun City.
