State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company: “Sufficient Power” Fuels Rural Revitalization
On January 13th, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company organized its personnel to conduct thorough inspections of power distribution facilities in villages such as Fengmen, Yanggou, and Yugong in Wangwu Town. They strengthened operation and maintenance management, prepared for risks associated with inclement weather like rain, snow, and freezing temperatures, and visited facilities engaged in mushroom cultivation, greenhouse vegetable planting, and goat farming to provide service support, ensuring safe and reliable electricity supply for the community during winter.

Jiyuan is a leading model for rural revitalization in Henan Province. Since 2024, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company has focused on the ambitious development goals of “strong agriculture, prosperous farmers, and beautiful countryside.” They emphasized a balanced approach to “strengthening the power grid, ensuring power supply, and optimizing quality services,” refining measures, and enhancing quality and efficiency to empower comprehensive rural revitalization with “sufficient electricity.”
The company prioritized improving the power grid’s support capacity as a foundational task. They closely aligned their efforts with expanding agricultural industry chains, agricultural product processing, and the practical needs of rural production and living. By carefully planning and implementing strategies, deepening professional collaboration, and optimizing the allocation of resources like personnel, materials, and equipment, they balanced safety, quality, and efficiency. They have successfully completed 265 power distribution network projects, constructed 662 kilometers of new distribution lines, and established 421 distribution transformer substations, effectively reinforcing the power grid’s infrastructure and improving electricity reliability, thus providing dependable electric energy for modern agricultural development and rural livelihoods.
Given the vast mountainous area of Jiyuan, where power facilities traverse forests, valleys, and wind-swept locations, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company proactively assumed responsibility for the power supply. Following the philosophy of “precise operation and maintenance, risk control, and seamless connectivity,” they have refined management measures and established security mechanisms. They have included each substation, key substations, and critical transmission and distribution lines in their operation and maintenance management focus, formulating control measures based on a “one substation, one strategy” and “one line, one strategy” approach. They have strengthened routine operation and maintenance, increased inspection frequency, and strengthened the identification and management of potential hazards and risk prevention. So far this year, over 300 potential hazards have been eliminated, and more than 100 risk prevention measures have been implemented, ensuring a stable electricity supply.
Additionally, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company is committed to delivering high-quality, efficient, and convenient services. They have improved their grid-based service mechanism by detailing responsibility standards and evaluation methods for grassroots power supply personnel, continuously enhancing service quality and efficiency. They also utilize 397 rural WeChat groups to stay updated on real-time power usage, handle business inquiries promptly, and address power supply issues, thereby meeting customer needs with sufficient electricity and contributing to comprehensive rural revitalization.
