State Grid Baofeng Powers Up Green Travel with New EV Charging Station Construction
“Everything looks good – systems operating normally!” On December 12th, State Grid Baofeng County Power Supply Company personnel conducted routine inspections at the newly operational electric vehicle (EV) charging station at Pingdingshan West High-Speed Rail Station, ensuring seamless charging service for travelers.
Located in the underground parking garage of the station on Station Front Road, Baofeng County, Pingdingshan City, the new charging station project has a total capacity of 480 kilowatts and is equipped with one 480-kilowatt DC main control box and 12 DC fast-charging terminals. It was put into use on November 29th, providing more convenient and efficient charging services for travelers and further boosting green transportation options in the area.
Recognizing the importance of Pingdingshan West as a key transportation hub, and the role of EV charging in meeting passenger needs and promoting eco-friendly travel, State Grid Baofeng acted swiftly upon receiving the project application. The company diligently assessed the planned EV infrastructure, carefully evaluating power distribution needs, timelines, and overall scale. Personnel were immediately dispatched for on-site surveys, collaborating with design and construction partners to optimize the station’s layout and location. Adhering to the “Three Excellences” service standard, State Grid Baofeng invested in and constructed all charging and exchanging infrastructure outside the designated planning red line.
Moving forward, State Grid Baofeng County Power Supply Company remains committed to providing top-tier service, continuously optimizing the power business environment, and enhancing charging capabilities to support the growing demand for green transportation. (By Yang Meng & Deng Luying)
