节水又环保的“掌上洒水器”来啦_风闻

如今水资源日益匮乏，“节约用水”的标语更是随处可见。在2019年的中美青年创客大赛中，来自美国的DNE小队为我们带来了节水又环保的“云管智能洒水系统”。

2020共创未来——中美青年创客大赛总决赛已经于8月24日圆满落幕。

本届中美青年创客大赛由中国教育部主办，中国（教育部）留学服务中心、清华大学、北京歌华文化发展集团、谷歌信息技术（中国）有限公司和中国大学科技园联盟承办。共计评选出了1支特等奖团队、3支一等奖团队、6支二等奖团队和15支三等奖团队。团队们的作品从生物科技到城市管理，种类繁多、创意新颖，为中美两国的人文交流提供了高质量作品。

在围观今年的选手们做出的成果前，让我们一起来回顾一下去年的选手们发明创造出了怎样的作品吧~

解读中国工作室精心策划制作“2019中美青年创客大赛”系列节目，带你一起走进赛场感受青年创客们的创新精神和青春活力。今天推出《掌上洒水器》。

这是一款云管智能洒水系统，在美国有许多这样的洒水系统。它们就像车库里的一个机械计时器，所以我们设计了一些东西，可以直接替换旧设备，而不需要改变整个洒水系统本身。

This is a Cloud Hosted Intelligent Sprinkling System. In America, there are a lot of them. They are just like a mechanical timer inside the garage so we’ve designed something that we can directly replace that without changing the whole sprinkling system itself.

那么除此之外，这款洒水器还有什么特别功能呢？

这款产品还有一些功能，比如检查当前或未来的降雨预报。我们使用这些传感器来测量后院、前院或任何放置地方的湿度，用这些数据来决定是否要运行洒水系统。

It has features like it checks the forecast for rain currently or in the future. We use these sensors to measure the moisture in the backyard, front yard, or wherever you decide to put it. We use all these data to make decisions on whether to run the sprinkling system itself.

对于参加创客大赛，DNE小队又有什么样的感受呢？

大赛上有许多有趣的作品，也有很多很酷的作品让我想一直创作下去。

There are really a lot of interesting things. There are really a lot of really cool projects that make me really just want to keep, keep making things.

也许我们能给我们的作品增加更多功能。例如，我们之前考虑过，比如有人站在洒水器一定范围内，洒水器会停止洒水。但是我们没有时间添加这个功能，所以……

Perhaps we will be able to add more features to the project. For example, we were thinking about the feature earlier. For example, somebody was standing in the range of the sprinkler that the sprinkler would stop sprinkling but we didn’t have time to add this feature so…

环顾四周，我看到了很多更大发动机的项目，比如在我们对面的是一架无人机，看起来像是潜水艇或船。我从来没有做过机动车项目，这会是我想做的东西。

Just by looking around, I’ve seen a lot of larger motor-based projects like across from us was a drone and what appears to be either kind of submarine or boat. And I mean I haven’t ever done like a motorized vehicle project and that sounds like a project that I want to overtake.

DNE小队的创客之行结束了。明天，一支来自美国的创客小队将会为我们带来能够及时检查出皮肤癌的人工智能产品。他们的目标是让世界上的每一个人都能够进行免费的皮肤癌检测。
