瑞恩的平安日志：公益路不缺席_风闻

解读中国工作室推荐系列短视频节目《瑞恩的平安日志》，今日放送第八集：《公益路不缺席》。

随着国内新冠肺炎疫情的持续，疫区的物资供给情况牵动着社会各界人士的心。在本集视频中，瑞恩加入志愿者工作，以国际友人的实际行动支持中国抗击疫情。

我的朋友王静告诉我，她一直在筹集物资要寄到武汉去。所以我们去看看，看她是否需要帮忙。

My friend Wang Jing, she just let me know that she’s been collecting a bunch of stuff to send to Wuhan. So we’re gonna go check it out, and see if she needs any help.

来到朋友茶叶店的瑞恩看到了堆满的物资，包括各式各样的食物，以及口罩等防护用品，甚至有前线医护人员紧缺的防护服。

当瑞恩向王静询问她捐赠物资的初衷，她这样回复：

前几天看到武汉武昌医院院长去世，作为奋斗在一线的院长去世。他的妻子是护士长，告别的时候，画面很让人感动。所以看到这些，我觉得（无论是白衣天使还是我们）大家都是普通人，应该做一点自己力所能及的事情。

A few days ago I saw the director of Wuhan Wuchang Hospital died. Died  struggling in the front lines. His wife is the head nurse. It was so sad seeing her say goodbye.  So after reading this, I think we are all ordinary people. We should do something if we can.

所以我们就发动了募捐。店里的这些客人来买茶，还有一些愿意捐钱捐物的，我们统一把物资搜集到一起，直接邮寄到武汉协和医院。

So we started raising money. Some customers in the shop buy tea. Others are willing to donate money or goods. After we collected the materials together, we mailed them directly to Xiehe Hospital in Wuhan.

瑞恩帮助王静整理搬运物资的同时，感受到了帮助他人给自己带来的温暖，因此也捐赠了一笔资金用于物资打包。

你知道这不是我的主意，我不是这次捐赠的组织者。但站在这里的感觉真好，因为每个走过的人都看着我，就好像这些都是我捐赠的。他们都给我大大的微笑，或点头表示赞同。这种所有人都能团结一起，劲往一处使的感觉真的特别好。所以我和王静讲，由我来支付这些包装费用，这是我应尽的微薄之力。

Man, you know this isn’t my idea and I didn’t purchase all this. But it’s really nice standing out here because everyone who walks by looks at me as if these are my donations that I’m sending and they give me a really big simle or nod of approval. It’s so awesome that everyone can come together like this. So I told Wang Jing I’d help pay for the boxes. I figure it’s the least I can do.

在抗击新冠肺炎疫情中，除了像王静这样的志愿者捐赠物资，还有运输企业对捐赠物品低价甚者免费的及时运输。瑞恩在网上进行了搜索，看到了中国社会各界人士，不论身处什么行业、做什么职业，都在做一些力所能及的事儿。

新冠肺炎暴发以来，无数支援的故事在默默发生。随着全球环境越来越复杂，知道还有人愿意提供帮助，总是一件高兴的事。帮助需要帮助的人是好事。它还有一个额外的好处，让你自己感觉很好！

There have been countless stories of support  since the outbreak began. With the world getting crazier each and every day, it’s nice to know that there are still people out there willing to help. Helping those in need is always a good choice. And an added bonus, it makes you feel good too!
